Theme: Creating Internship Opportunities for Graduate Students

One challenge graduate students face in the job market is a lack of relevant experience. We know internships can help bridge that gap, but there are barriers to developing opportunities for students:

  • Lack of opportunities
  • Lack of advisor/departmental support
  • Lack of funding
  • Lots of other stuff

What strategies are you using on your campus to overcome the challenges of helping students get relevant work experience?
