Things to do in the area
The Durham Visitor’s Center has lots of information on local attractions and activities: https://www.discoverdurham.com/things-to-do/-things-to-do-/. We recommend the Sarah P. Duke Gardens (http://gardens.duke.edu/), visiting the stores and restaurants in Downtown Durham and on Ninth Street, seeing current exhibitions at The Nasher Museum of Art (https://nasher.duke.edu/). It might be a bit cold this time of year, but Durham also has many hiking trails through the Duke Forest (https://dukeforest.duke.edu/) and the Eno River State Park (https://www.ncparks.gov/eno-river-state-park).
